Terms of use

Using this site
By using CodeNx you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use the site.
Content and code samples
Article text is published for you to read, quote and reference. Quote freely with attribution and a link to the source article; do not republish articles in full without permission.
Code samples in guides are provided so you can use them. Treat them as MIT-licensed unless a specific article states otherwise: use, modify and ship them, with no warranty attached.
Accuracy and versions
Guides are verified against the specific versions named in each article's tested environment, on the date shown as “last verified”. Software changes. A command that worked then may not work now, and an article that has not been re-verified recently displays a notice saying so.
Nothing here is a guarantee of fitness for your environment. Read what a command does before running it, especially anything that touches firewalls, permissions, production data or billing.
AI-assisted content
Some articles are drafted with AI assistance and are labelled as such at the top of the page. Every published article — AI-assisted or not — has been through a verification pass and a human review before publication. Where a claim could not be verified, the article marks it as unverified rather than stating it as fact.
Liability
CodeNx is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss or damage arising from following instructions on this site, including data loss, downtime, security incidents or costs incurred with a hosting or cloud provider.
Third-party names and links
Product names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. Referring to a product does not imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, its vendor.
External links are provided for reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
Sponsorship
We do not accept sponsored articles, paid link placements or guest posts written for SEO purposes. If that ever changes, any commercial relationship will be disclosed on the article itself.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the date above reflects the most recent change.
